King Soopers Grocery Card Fundraiser

Troop 78 has long been registered with King Soopers to earn rewards from grocery shopping. The Troop typically earns about $400-500 each quarter simply by having families link their shopping accounts to our organization.

Historically, our treasurer received a quarterly report detailing how much each household donated and those funds were deposited into scout accounts. In 2020, King Soopers changed their rewards policy and the auto-generated report only includes the number of households who donate, not the amounts.

In the spirit of “every little bit counts,” we have devised a work-around to help the donations make their way into individual scout accounts. Each quarter, we ask that you log into your King Soopers account and submit a screenshot of your donation page. If you do not submit a screenshot, we will gratefully assume that you are choosing to donate any of your family grocery credits to the Troop’s general fund instead of your scout’s personal account.

How to sign up for King Soopers Rewards

1. Log into https://www.kingsoopers.com/

2. Sign-in/set up an account

3. Go to “My Account”

4. Go to “Community Rewards” under "Rewards"

5. Add organization: "Boy Scout Troop 78", Account Number LL403 (Apologies, the account was created long before the shift to Scouts BSA and admitting girls.)

6. Follow the directions below to claim your rewards.   

How to claim your donations

1. Log into https://www.kingsoopers.com/

2. Sign-in

3. Go to "Rewards". Go to “Community Rewards”.

4. Scroll down to “Previous Quarter” until you see your “Contribution”.

5. Take a screenshot.

6. Email your screenshot to Erin Trendler with your name and your Scout’s name. Contact the Scoutmaster or Troop Treasurer to get Erin's email address.

7. Watch your Scout account grow!
